Perbandingan Efisiensi Penggunaan Tempat Tidur dan Jenis Penyakit Tahun 2018 dan 2019 di Rumah Sakit Tipe C

One aspect that needs to be considered in hospital services is the use of patient beds. Patient beds need to get great attention from hospital management because they are a place for patient care and need to be arranged to obtain efficient use. This study aims to compare the efficiency of bed use and types of disease in 2018 and 2019 in Type C Hospitals. This research was descriptive with the object of research used is all inpatient daily census recap data and data on types of disease in each inpatient room. The efficiency value used the Indonesian Ministry of Health standards and is illustrated by a Barber Johnson graph. The results showed that the management of beds in Type C Hospital in 2018 was efficient and in 2019 it was not yet efficient. types of infectious diseases are typhoid fever, dengue haemorrhage fever, gastroenteritis and pneumonia; non-infectious diseases are chronic kidney disease, diabetes mellitus (DM), cerebral infarction; and some cases of pregnancy. Suggestions that can be given are the need for a bed reallocation that is less effective.
