Analisis SWOT Puskesmas Turi Kabupaten Lamongan Sebagai Bentuk Strategi Pengembangan Organisasi

To improve health services of Puskesmas Turi, located in Turi District, as one of Puskesmas with the highest number of outpatient visits in Kabupaten Lamongan, is required to conduct a regular SWOT analysis, in order to identify various internal weakness and minimize external threats. The purpose of this study was to determine the aspects of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats at Puskesmas Turi.This study uses descriptive type of research, withtotal of 5 respondents by purposive sampling technique, consisting of the entire management staff of puskesmas. The research instrument used a SWOT research questionnaire, with 14 criteria for the Internal Factors Analysis Summary and 12 criteria for the ExternalFactors Analysis Summary. The results of the SWOT analysis at Puskesmas Turi can be seen that Puskesmas Turi is located in quadrant 3. This position indicates an organization has great opportunities but has weaknesses in internal sources. Quadrant 3 is included in the stage of revamping or changing the strategy by eliminating internal weaknesses by taking advantage of available opportunities. Based on this strategy to provide opportunities for Health Human Resources at Puskesmas Turi to participate in education and training activities as a form of improving work ethic and individual skills, as well as conducting many promotive and preventive programs by the health workerswho are capable and skilled, where these programs involve the community around puskesmas, with the hope of increasing the number of utilization ofhealthservices.
